Yes! Registering and basic use of Workpur is completely free. Customers can post jobs for free. Workers get 10 free bids per month. Premium plans (Pro at ₹499/month, Elite at ₹999/month) offer unlimited bids, lower platform fees, and priority listing.
When a Customer hires a Worker, they deposit the agreed amount into escrow (held securely by Workpur). The money is only released to the Worker after both parties confirm job completion. This protects Customers from paying for incomplete work and Workers from non-payment.
Workpur is currently available in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Nashik. We're expanding to other Indian cities soon. If your city isn't listed, you can register and we'll notify you when we launch in your area.
Complete your KYC verification by submitting your Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a selfie. Our team verifies documents within 1–2 business days. Once approved, your profile shows the green "Verified" badge, which significantly increases customer trust and job invitations.
Go to Dashboard → Post a Job. Follow the 7-step wizard: enter job details, description, budget, location, and optional photos. Your job will be visible to nearby workers within minutes, and bids will start coming in.
Review each bid carefully — check the worker's profile, ratings, reviews, certifications, and portfolio. Use the "Compare Bids" feature to see all bids side by side. Look for the green "Verified" badge for added trust. You can also chat with workers before hiring.
Don't confirm job completion if the work isn't satisfactory. Use the chat to communicate your concerns to the worker. If unresolved, raise a dispute through our Dispute Resolution team. Escrow funds will remain held until the dispute is resolved.
Complete your profile (aim for 100%), add portfolio photos, complete KYC, and set your service area. Then use the "Find Jobs" section to discover nearby opportunities and submit compelling bids. Workers with complete profiles get 3x more job invitations.
Once both you and the customer confirm job completion, payment is released to your Workpur wallet within minutes. From your wallet, you can withdraw to your bank account (minimum ₹500) — processed within 24–48 hours. Platform fee (10% Free, 8% Pro, 6% Elite) is deducted automatically.
A winning bid clearly explains your relevant experience, timeline, materials you'll use, and any warranties offered. Be specific — mention certifications (e.g., ITI, Wireman License), similar work you've done, and why you're the best fit. Keep it professional and concise.
We accept UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking, and wallet payments. All payments are processed through RZPay, a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway.
Yes, refunds are available for escrow payments in specific circumstances (job cancellation, worker no-show, quality disputes). See our Refund Policy for complete details. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
